Welcome, TAP Counselors!

Welcome to the Transition Assistance Program web portal!
TurboTAP.org is a DoD resource for you — to support you in your efforts to help servicemembers who are leaving active duty. View site tour.
This website is intended to supplement the TAP workshop and the services you offer. It is not a replacement of those services.
The following is a list of resources that TurboTAP.org offers both you and the transitioning servicemember:
Individual Transition Plan
Servicemembers can create their own transition plan. By inputting information about themselves and their goals for civilian life, we create a customized transition plan. This transition plan provides information about finding a job, relocating, education and training options, veteran benefits, handling personal finances, and more!
Moreover, this Individual Transition Plan can be updated at any time — as the servicemember’s goals evolve and change.
Transition Guides
You can access the official DoD Transition Guides on this website. There are two versions: (1)Active Duty and (2) Guard/Reserve. They are available for download in PDF format — for you to use as handouts in presentations or for general distribution.
You can also access the content in these guides directly on TurboTAP.org. Here is a list of the chapters:
